BROKER/AGENT PROFILE

fniendorff@naiaustin.com

Frank began his commercial real estate career in 1971 as a commercial real estate “general practitioner,” assisting investors, retailers, office and industrial tenants. In 1975, Frank founded Commercial Industrial Properties Co. (“CIP”). Frank successfully recruited, developed and retained talented brokers and agents to specialize in providing commercial real estate services for tenants, buyers and sellers of industrial, office and retail buildings and land, and CIP became one of the most successful and respected firms in Central Texas.

In the late ‘70s and early ’80s, Frank focused his attention on the industrial real estate market that emerged to support the area’s rapidly-growing population and expanding business community, and he also began a 20-year effort to recruit new employers and industry to Central Texas and provide industrial site location and leasing services to those industries. Frank became a moving force in the Central Texas brokerage community and has been instrumental in helping to recruit many of Central Texas’ large, technology-driven businesses.

In 1992, in an effort to respond to increasing client demand for global corporate real estate services and representation, CIP joined forces with NAI Global, the largest provider of commercial real estate services in the world, and renamed the company NAI Commercial Industrial Properties Co. (“NAI CIP”). In January 2008, to better reflect NAI Austin’s local presence as a part of a global commercial real estate services delivery system, Frank renamed the company NAI Austin. This alliance with NAI Global and its 8,000 professionals in 375 metropolitan areas in 55 countries has given NAI Austin the ability to provide clients with commercial real estate services around the corner or around the world. Frank has managed and led NAI Austin to become one of the most successful, highly-respected commercial real estate firms in Texas.
